Our Favorite Christmas Books for Kids

This post contains affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission from qualifying purchases. These are provided for convenience with no price increase.

My kids and I have a special Christmas time tradition that we look forward to each December. Over the years, we’ve collected Christmas books and each day during the month of December, the kids will choose one or two to snuggle up on the sofa together and read as a bedtime story by the glow of the Christmas tree. I’ve listed our most treasured holiday books below. We’ll eventually reach at least 25 books, but we’ve tried to keep it budget friendly and just order one or two new ones each year. Our top three favorites are the first three in the list and then the order is random after that.

Do you have a tradition of reading Christmas books with your kids? If so, I hope you find some new great ideas here to add to your collection! Are there any that I need to add to mine? I’d love to hear!

I didn't know there was a Christmas book from a President Monson story! That just went to the top of my list!
