Spooky “I Spy” Halloween Party Game

Planning a Halloween party?
Here’s a super fun game to keep your guests busy while everyone’s arriving.
It’s unbelievably easy to make too!  Many of the items are probably floating around your craft room already.

 {MATERIALS}

Big Mason Jar with lid
Festive Cupcake liner
Rice
Search items (spider rings, pom poms, googly eyes, old keys, candy pumpkins, etc.)
White Spray paint for the lid
Search List

  1. Spray paint the lid white or black.  Let dry.
  2. Assemble your items (they can be found at the Dollar Store, craft store, or around the house)
  3. Type up a list of the items.  Decorate it with stickers, etc., if you’d like.
  4. Grab your jar and fill it with a little rice, then add a few of the items, fill it with a little more rice, etc. until all the search items are included and it’s almost all the way full.
  5. Optional: Punch a hole in the list and attach it to the jar with string.
  6. Screw the lid on tight with your fun cupcake liner and get finding!

Pass one or a few around at the party!
Isn’t it so fun?  Your guests will love it!

I've made similar things for my kids when they were little and they are so much fun. Love that you used rice for yours so that the objects can be seen better.

I absolutely loved this idea when you linked it up to the Lovely Ladies linky party last week! So much in fact, that I featured you at this weeks party :) You can check it out here- http://bit.ly/15t2Nra
My kids love I Spy books and those expensive toys, what a great way to save a little money and keep it themed.
    Have a great week!

Amazing themed Halloween party and ideas! Halloween party is all about kid’s games and keeping them entertain. Kids often get bored in parties, but if the party is organized in well planned theme, you can make most out of it to keep your kids engaged. As no party is complete without kids gaming activities so it is must that one should arrange some exciting games and activities in the party.

Hello, how do kids search? Do they open the jar?

Hi Veronika. They'll just shake the jar to move the rice and items around. Depending on how they shake and move it, they'll be able to see different items and check them off the list.
