Send the kids back to school with this easy Taco Roll Ups lunch that’s sure to be a hit! Plus, keep it cool and fresh in a stylish PackIt lunch box!
We’ve been having the best summer! Sure, there have been a few set backs (like two broken bones), but that hasn’t kept us from playing hard, traveling, and swimming up a storm! It’s been a very memorable one, for sure! 🙂
The kids are gearing up to head back to school in a few weeks. Though it’s hard seeing the summer break come to an end, they’re looking forward to reuniting with friends and learning new things with their new teachers!
We have a special back-to-school tradition where I shop with the kids and they get to choose a new “first day of school” outfit, shoes, and supplies such as a backpack and lunch box. I know the kids look forward to it each year.
My daughter will be starting kindergarten this time around, so she was especially excited to select the perfect lunch box to take to school! When I showed her this one from PackIt, she immediately knew it was meant to be hers! Go here to check out more styles and patterns!
I’m pretty sure she was drawn to the cute triangles and bright colors. 🙂 I love that the entire bag is freezable, so I simply collapse it and put it in the freezer the night before (for about 12 hours), then pull it out in the morning when I’m prepping lunches. I don’t have to even add ice packs, because the built-in gel walls freeze and keep the food and drinks chilled for hours, just like a mini refrigerator!
Would you love to win a PackIt freezable bag? Well, you’re in luck, because I’m hosting a giveaway over on my Instagram account where you can enter to do just that! Head over to catch all the details on this fantastic opportunity!
The mesh pocket on the side is perfect for drinks! And, there’s a convenient buckle on the handle, so the box can clip onto backpacks, totes or even sports bags! It’s nice and roomy too! There was plenty of space for some yummy Taco Roll Ups, plus fruit and veggies!
My kiddos love tacos (what kid doesn’t?), so I thought it would be fun to make a more portable version that could go in their PackIt lunch boxes with them to school! These are so yummy and a great way to put a smile on the kids’ faces when they open that box. I think your kiddos are going to love these too! Dip them in salsa or eat them just as they are…you can’t go wrong!
