I still remember, as a kid, the special holiday treats my mom would make. My siblings and I would look forward to each occasion, rather impatiently, so we could enjoy those confections that only appeared once a year. I’ve carried on the tradition and make many of the same goodies for my own children. These adorable ghost cups will become a family Halloween tradition, for sure!
The dipper options are many! We really love Mini Fudge Stripes and Mini Chips Deluxe, because they are the perfect size for dipping.
I think it would also be fun to slice Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies Treats® Original into strips for some yummy variety. Who doesn’t love classic Rice Krispies Treats? I grew up on them and now I get to share some smiles with my kids!
We keep our pantry stocked with Mini Fudge Stripes because we can’t get enough of those striped shortbread cookies! The delicious fudge is made from 100% real cocoa! Plus, I’m convinced everything tastes better when it’s small. 🙂
The convenient packages are so perfect for parties, snack time, play dates, school lunches, and road trips, just to name a few! I’ve been known to stash some in my bag for when my kids need bribing while we’re running errands. 🙂
Here’s how to put these dip cups together:
I piped the dip into the cups so it would look clean and more swirled and fluffy. Then I used a black permanent marker to draw on the eyes and mouth. I used mini snack cups and they are the perfect size for little hands!
Ghost Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 3.3 oz white chocolate instant pudding and pie filling dry, straight from the packet
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. sweetened condensed milk
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 8 oz. whipped topping
Instructions
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together cream cheese, white chocolate pudding mix, vanilla and powdered sugar. Add sweetened condensed and regular milk and whip until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping until everything is completely incorporated and pipe into mini clear plastic cups. I put the mixture into a sealable bag and snipped one corner, then piped it into the cups.
- Draw ghost eyes and mouth on the outside of the cup with black permanent marker. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with dippers such as Rice Krispies Treats, Mini Fudge Stripes Cookies, and Mini Chips Deluxe Cookies.
