Googly Eye Monster Jars Halloween Craft

I have the cutest Halloween/anytime craft to share with you today!  These Googly Eye Monster Jars are SO easy to create and what a fun and bold statement they make! Kids would love this project too!
I’m in charge of our church’s Halloween party/trunk-or-treat this year, so I figured these would be perfect little centerpieces on the tables where everyone will eat.  They’re inexpensive, adorable, and so, so simple!  Totally my cup of tea!
{SUPPLIES}
Large Baby Food Jars
Acrylic Paint in various colors
Googly Eyes in all sizes
Hot Glue Gun
Start with a clean and dry baby food jar.  I used the larger size, but any will work.  You’ll need the lid too (not shown).
Squirt some paint around the sides of the jar, screw the lid on tight, and shake it every which way until the sides and bottom are fully coated.  You don’t want too much paint or they will take forever to dry. If needed, open the lid and squirt in a little more paint.
Turn upside down to dry.  I went ahead and made this the right direction.  I kept moving my jars around my scrap paper bag because the paint pools and I didn’t want the jars to stick. I went ahead and glued on the eyes right after painting them and then let them dry overnight.  That’s really all there is to it!

These monsters are sure to win any staring contest.   I dare you to challenge them. 🙂

These are such a neat Halloween decor piece, but I could see them at a monster birthday party too!
