Marvel Disney Infinity Games Party Ideas

I threw the party of all parties the other day with this Marvel Superheroes Disney Infinity bash!  Talk about kid heaven!
My kids have been obsessed with Disney Infinity since it first came out, so they were thrilled to hear about the much-anticipated release of Disney Infinity 2.0 and completely ecstatic when they learned they would be playing it at the party.  Eek!
Disney Infinity 2.0 is centered around Marvel characters and building worlds with greater ease, so I just had to go with a superhero-themed “Build Your Own…” sandwiches, nachos, and “dessert world” food bar.
Everything from the munchies to the decor to the entertainment was SO simple to pull off.  This was seriously one of the easiest parties ever to style!
But let’s start by introducing the stars of the party and power trio…Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow available in the starter pack at Walmart!  They were definitely the event’s eye-catchers.  The kids couldn’t help but ooooohhh and ahhhhh over them. 🙂
Don’t worry, though, there are many more awesome characters that are sold separately.  We’re already planning which ones we want next.  🙂  We’re accumulating quite the collection.
Awesome deal alert! You can receive a $10 Walmart Gift Card with purchase of a Starter Pack.  Offer valid from 9/23 – 9/27.
My husband is the resident expert on building things, so he constructed a wooden castle on the food table to feature our Disney Infinity superstars.

Our newest Avengers additions are showing off there on top.  I whipped up a city scape backdrop, with the help of my sweet sister-in-law.  We simply cut a large box open, laid it flat, and cut the shape of the buildings.  Then we spray painted it black and added windows with yellow paper rectangles.  Super easy!

For dinner the guests could build their own nachos as tall as the sky, followed by…
…sandwiches piled with goodness.
It was nearly impossible to save dessert for last.  I mean, how can you wait to build a sweet world (pardon my pun) with confections such as these?

I made simple chalkboard labels, used a handmade paper Marvel banner from my Captain America party and picked up the rest of the supplies at Walmart.

My son helped me make the important selections. 🙂

There were Rice Krispies squares, Graham crackers and chocolate bars for building materials with donut hole boulders.  Chocolate frosting acted as tasty soil with blue frosting for water and green frosting for grass.  Tiny colorful candies represented cute flowers.
Thor accepted a duel with Mr. Delectable the robot and won.  He enjoyed his prize.  🙂
Spiderman jumped in on the world-making fun too.
Don’t forget the Hulk Punch!  This perfect superhero drink is just green Kiwi Strawberry Punch.  Add soda for fizziness if you’d like, but it was perfectly tasty without it!
Altogether, there was good food and great conversation amongst the kids.
My sister-in-law was kind to paint the kids’ faces and did a marvelous job.  Iron Man came to the party….
…and then Captain America graced us with his presence.
The company just wouldn’t have been complete without Spiderman too.

Then it was time for the eagerly-awaited grand debut of Disney Infinity 2.0!

The superheroes swarmed to get first dibs on the controllers and the best view from the awesome fort the adults helped make.
But they all inevitably ended up crowded around the TV, mesmerized by the new game.  Even the toddlers got sucked in.
The kids immediately began building new worlds where they could have big adventures.  I loved watching their creative little minds at work.

They couldn’t stop talking about how cool Disney Infinity 2.0 is.  We actually had to set the timer because turn-taking became difficult with everyone clamoring for the controllers. 🙂  But can you blame them?

It was an evening to remember! Everyone went away very happy, can’t you tell?

Three cheers for Disney Infinity 2.0!

The face painting is amazing! I've done it a few times and mine never looked that good. (Although I always got the wiggly little ones...so not my fault.) :) #client

This party is so cute! I loved everything about it. I loved the nacho bar, and I thought the dessert idea was so cute! The kids probably loved creating their own desserts.

Wow! What a great job on the party. The theme behind your food bars is so clever and fun. I love that you included "real" food and a fun way to serve dessert too. But I admit, I do love the face painting too. That's some serious skills. Such a great party idea. (I've pinned it for future reference!) Thanks for sharing.

Good summer party ideas will help you save time in during planning and will also make the process less stressful for you. So always keep them handy, just in case. Some desserts like chocolate pudding can be served in small individual portions with a creative flair.

Hey, you have decorated all around the party room with Marvel Super Heroes fantastically and also it became a Disney Marvel Super Heroes room for kids. That type of birthday decorating idea children are like mostly and also they want all kind of Disney reacted cartoons, crafts, hats etc in their birthday party. Your husband done a great job to build a Marvel Super Heroes building. You also take care about kids face making ideas and it is really great that you design a face with Spider-man mask that I do on a kids birthday event like superhero birthday party idea.
You can see my events work that I do for my clients. I run a business from my home with my husband to organize a event.
