My kids love crafting and creating with perler beads, so I thought why not make a few adorable Valentines with them?
There are so many options, but we stuck with a bubble gum machine and a guitar so we could use the phrases, “Won’t Chew be Mine” and “You Rock my World”. The cheesier the better, right? 🙂 I think so, and the kids sure do love clever word associations too.
Ever since my kids got the perler beads for Christmas, the kitchen table has been cluttered with them. I love to watch my kiddos having fun creating. We have a huge bag filled with their masterpieces! I’ll soon be needing to find a bigger container to house them, I’m sure. I’ve been the master ironer over the past little while. 🙂 But I love my job.
When my daughter showed me an adorable bubble gum machine and guitar that she made the other evening, I knew I needed to incorporate them into a fun valentine that she could share with her friends and classmates!
This Valentine idea requires a little more time than some, but if your kids are like mine and spend every spare minute creating with perler beads, you might as well channel their efforts towards a fun cause! 🙂
As long as they start early, they’ll totally be able to whip out enough adorable valentines to hand out at school on Valentine’s Day.
I appreciate that this is a great non-sugary option, since the kids always get plenty of treats, not that I’m completely opposed to that. 🙂
This is a unique idea that is sure to be a hit at the class valentine exchange!
Don’t forget to grab your free printables below. Use white cardstock for best results. Printables are for personal use only.
Then, simply attach the pieces to the cardstock with some double stick tape or some washi tape, and you’re good to go! The kids can write To: and From: on the back if they’d like.
