Some assembly is required in order to achieve this cuteness. Each design comes in different pieces that have to be put together on the wall. For instance, the giraffe came in four different sections (one for the bottom of the body with the legs and hooves, another for the orange nose, another for the head and neck, and one for the scalloped mane). The flowers and leaves all came on a big sheet, so we had to cut those out separately before applying them, but it was no big deal. There are no application instructions, however, so we referred to the design image online many times to ensure that we put the pieces together correctly.
The large decals were definitely a two-person job. After sticking them to the wall, my husband peeled back the transfer tape while I smoothed the design down to avoid bubbling. The entire project took just under two hours to complete, and was well worth it. It was actually quite fun watching it come together. The kids kept anxiously checking in to see our progress. 🙂
Here’s another view of the left side.
