Show your gratitude to a wonderful educator, before school lets out for the summer, with this fun and colorful Noteworthy Teacher Appreciation Gift!
I’m having a hard time coming to grips with the fact that the school year is almost over for the kids. Time passes too quickly! I love having them home for the summer, but I hate that it means that they are growing up so fast!
The kids have really enjoyed their teachers this year. They’ve learned so much and have grown by leaps and bounds not only physically, but have increased their capabilities mentally as well. I love to watch their confidence blossom as they gain new wisdom!
I’ve always had great admiration and respect for teachers. Their job is not an easy one! So I like to show my utmost gratitude whenever I can! Teacher appreciation week is a great time to do just that!
My gifts are always simple and inexpensive, yet heartfelt (and maybe slightly cheesy too). 🙂 Haha! I just can’t help myself! I love coming up with cutesy sayings to accompany fun items that the teachers will enjoy and use.
If you’re looking for edible ideas (those are always delicious and welcomed too), this “You’re a Star” gift or this Lemonade gift or this “It’s been a real treat” gift are great options.
I was at Walmart the other day and saw these adorable mini notebooks with polka dots and stripes (two of my most favorite patterns) and knew I had to include them in this year’s teacher appreciation gift. The dollar store is another great option for notebooks like this.
So then the phrase, “Thank you for a very NOTEWORTHY school year!” was born. And the rest is history. 🙂 I tied on a colored pen and cute tag (print those below) with baker’s twine and that was it! I love how easy this is! And it works perfectly for friend and classmate gifts too since the tagline is general enough.
We’ll be giving out eight of these beauties! One of my kids has two teachers, another has three teachers and then we always like to include the school nurse and assistant nurse in our gift giving as well. Because they’re important too!
